Excel: Cell Alignment Changes on CalculationID: Q88378

In Microsoft Excel for Windows, the vertical alignment of a numeric
value in a cell may change when the formula in that cell recalculates.
This occurs if the cell is formatted with the Wrap Text option enabled
and vertical alignment set to Bottom (the default setting).
If the numeric value in a cell changes when the formula in that cell
recalculates, Excel automatically realigns the value to the top of the
cell.
If you set the vertical alignment format for the cell to Center or
Top, the alignment won't change when the formula recalculates.
To change cell alignment:
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Excel listed above. We are researching this problem, and will post more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
