Excel: Cell Contents Not Displayed in Color Chosen Under Font

SUMMARY

If a cell is not being displayed in the color indicated with the Font command, check to see if there is a number format causing it to display differently.

If a cell is formatted in Microsoft Excel version 2.20 to be a certain color by choosing Font from the Format menu, and a different color formatting is applied to it as a number format, the color imposed by the number format takes precedence over the color indicated by the Font command.
