Excel: COMMAND+SEMICOLON Does Not Enter Current Date in CellLast reviewed: November 2, 1994Article ID: Q61498 |
SUMMARYPage 347 of the "Microsoft Excel Reference" version 2.2 manual incorrectly states that the keyboard shortcut for entering the current date into a cell is COMMAND+SEMICOLON (;). The correct key command is COMMAND+HYPHEN (-). Pressing COMMAND+SEMICOLON enters the current time into the formula bar.
