Excel: Continuous Printing with Dot-Matrix PrinterID: Q98868
|
Microsoft Excel for Windows cannot print continuously over multiple pages when you are using a dot-matrix printer driver. Microsoft Excel will stop printing at each page break. However, by setting the margins at or near zero, the page will appear to print as one continuous page.
Microsoft Excel cannot ignore page breaks because the Windows printer
drivers print one page at a time from all Windows applications. To
minimize the line spaces between printed pages, set the top and bottom
margins as small as possible. (The minimum top and bottom margin
settings depend on which printer driver you use.)
To print continuously (sideways printing) over multiple pages when you
are using a dot-matrix printer driver, do the following:
"User's Guide 1," version 4.0, page 540
"User's Guide," version 3.0, page 530
