Excel: Display Problem with Fahrenheit 1280 Orchid Video Card

SUMMARY

When using the Fahrenheit 1280 Orchid video display driver with Microsoft Excel and creating a chart with the Chart tool from the tool bar, the resulting chart will appear empty on the spreadsheet. Changing the display to standard VGA will correct the problem.

The Fahrenheit 1280 is a video card that is up to 25 times faster than standard super VGA while running Microsoft's Windows version 3.0.

The 1280 card supports a maximum interlaced display resolution of 1280 x 1024, with both interlaced and noninterlaced support at 1024 x 768 and lower. The Orchid 1280 card also supports up to 32,768 colors in 640 x 480 and memory options of 512K and 1 MB of VRAM.

Note: The driver supplied with this card has not been tested to support Microsoft Excel 3.0.
