Excel: Example of HALT() Command Is Incorrect

Last reviewed: November 2, 1994

SUMMARY

The example of the HALT() command on page 242 in the "Microsoft Excel Functions and Macros" version 2.2 manual contains an error.

The example incorrectly reads as follows:

   IF(ISERROR(A1),HALT()GOTO(D4))

There should be a comma between "HALT()" and "GOTO(D4)". The IF() statement contains three parameters: the conditional, the value-if-true, and the value-if-false.

For more information on the IF() statement, see page 43 in the "Microsoft Excel Functions and Macros" version 2.2 manual.
