PRB: Cannot Have Independent Groups of 3D Radio Buttons

SYMPTOMS

Create a dialog-box template with more than one group of the 3D radio buttons that are included with THREED.VBX. The arrow keys behave as expected: they move you between the 3D radio buttons in one group. However, only one of the radio buttons in the entire dialog template is set, as though the radio buttons were all in the same group.

CAUSE

Sheridan Software has confirmed this to be a problem with the controls in the file THREED.VBX, which shipped with the Visual Control Pack, version 1.0. This problem does not exist with the controls in the file THREED.VBX, which shipped with Visual Basic, version 3.0.

The updated THREED.VBX file is available to registered users from Sheridan Software:
