Excel: Floating Toolbars Not Displaying CorrectlyID: Q88981
|
Floating toolbars may not display correctly in Microsoft Excel for the
Macintosh version 4.0 if both the Status Bar and the Formula Bar are
not displayed on the screen. The floating toolbar will be drawn behind
the active worksheet until Microsoft Excel has to redraw any window
(resizing the active window, opening a new document, opening a new
window of the active document, and so forth). Once a window has been
redrawn, the toolbar appears correctly. To keep the toolbar from being
hidden behind the active document, the Status Bar and/or the Formula
Bar must be turned on.
Note: Scrolling through the active document or switching to other
applications will not bring the toolbar to the front.
To display the Status Bar or the Formula Bar:
"Microsoft Excel User's Guide 1," version 4.0, page 30
"Microsoft Excel User's Guide 2," version 4.0, pages 154-156
