SUMMARYWhen linking worksheets in Microsoft Excel, formatting (bold, italic, etc.) from the supporting worksheet is not retained in the dependent worksheet. For example, if you type "name" in bold in cell A1 of Worksheet 1 and then enter "=Worksheet1!$A$1" in cell A1 of Worksheet 2, "name" appears in cell A1 of Worksheet 2 without bold formatting. To transfer the formatting to the dependent worksheet after linking the documents, do the following:
