Excel: Graphic in Edition Does Not Appear in WordID: Q89127
|
Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh includes TEXT format information in
an edition published from a worksheet. When version 5.0 of Microsoft
Word for the Macintosh subscribes to an edition, it uses RTF (Rich
Text Format) information first, TEXT information second, and PICT
information last. Microsoft Word 5.0 does not display a PICT graphic
within an edition published from an Excel worksheet.
In Microsoft Excel, you can change the contents of an edition,
however, TEXT is always published.
Microsoft Word can link to Microsoft Excel. Using this method, a
picture from Microsoft Excel can be pasted into Microsoft Word that
will update when the information is changed in Microsoft Excel.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
