Excel: How to Disable the Drag and Drop Warning Message

SUMMARY
The drag and drop feature in Microsoft Excel 4.0 or 5.0 can be used to move
information; however, when you attempt to overwrite nonblank cells in the
destination area, you may receive the following warning message:

To disable this warning message, follow the appropriate procedure below.
Microsoft Excel version 5.0
To disable this warning message in version 5.0, insert the following line
in the [Microsoft Excel] section of the EXCEL5.INI. The EXCEL5.INI is
located in the WINDOWS directory.
Options5=0
Close and restart Microsoft Excel. The warning message will not be
displayed and Microsoft Excel will overwrite the existing data with the
data that is being moved.
In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, to set the warning, choose Options from the
Tools menu, then select the Edit tab. Choose the Allow Cell Drag And Drop
check box and the Alert Before Overwriting Cells check box. Choose OK.
Microsoft Excel version 4.0
To disable this warning message in version 4.0, insert the following line
in the [Microsoft Excel] section of the EXCEL4.INI. The EXCEL4.INI is
located in the WINDOWS directory.
