Excel: How to Print the Data Form
ID: Q89715
|
The information in this article applies to:
-
Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 2.1, 3.0, 4.0, 4.0a, 5.0
In Microsoft Excel for Windows, there is no direct way to print a data
form; however, you can copy a screen image of the Data Form to the
Windows Clipboard and embed it as a picture object in a worksheet or
in a Microsoft Word for Windows document.
WORKAROUND
- With the data form displayed on the screen, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
This copies a screen image of the data form to the clipboard.
- Open a new worksheet in Microsoft Excel or a document in Word for
Windows. (You can paste objects into worksheets in Microsoft Excel
version 3.0 and later.)
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
The screen image can now be pasted from the clipboard to the Microsoft
Excel worksheet or Word document which can then be printed.
NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Excel versions 3.0 or 4.0, you can
embed the form as an object in a worksheet. If you are using an
earlier version of Microsoft Excel, copy the image into another
application such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Write for printing.
