This DMA code sample is offered as a portion of sample code to show the proper sequencing and use of kernel APIs to operate slave DMA for a device. This sample in and of itself is not a fully functional driver, but rather a template to create a fully functional driver.

Download DMA.EXE, a self-extracting file, from the Microsoft Software Library (MSL) on the following services:

  • Microsoft Download Service (MSDL) 

          Dial (206) 936-6735 to connect to MSDL
      Download DMA.EXE (size: 22920 bytes)
  • Internet (anonymous FTP) 

          ftp ftp.microsoft.com
      Change to the SOFTLIB\MSLFILES directory
      Get DMA.EXE (size: 22920 bytes)
