Summary: Some early versions of the Levco Prodigy 4 Accelerator Board for the Macintosh Plus may cause problems with Microsoft Excel 3.0. The About Excel dialog box may display garbage characters and formulas may calculate incorrectly. According to D.D. Technology, the maker of the Levco Prodigy 4 Accelerator board, Microsoft Word for the Macintosh version 5.0 may also have problems. Word documents that display and print correctly may drop characters once they have been saved. More Information: The Levco Prodigy 4 Accelerator Board is a 68020 upgrade for the Macintosh Plus. These incompatabilities can be corrected by replacing one of the programmable logical socketed parts on the Prodigy board. This hardware is available from D.D Technology.
