PRB: SHGetNameMappingPtr() and SHGetNameMappingCount()

• Microsoft Win32 Software Development Kit (SDK), used with:
  • Microsoft Windows 95
• Microsoft Visual C++, 32-bit Editions, versions 2.2, 4.0

SYMPTOMS

Referencing SHGetNameMappingPtr() or SHGetNameMappingCount() in your code generates error C2065: 'DSA_GetItemPtr' : undeclared identifier when building.

CAUSE

These APIs are no longer supported. They being removed from the documentation and headers for future SDK releases.

MORE INFORMATION

The SHFileOperation() API itself is unaffected by this.
