Activating MicroApp Manager Using Keyboard Controls

SUMMARY

The Microsoft Windows Resource Kit gives instructions for loading the HDC MicroApp Manager utility, but lacks instructions for keyboard use of this utility.

The MicroApp Manager loads by replacing the Control menu with a custom version. As a result, the MicroApp Manager menu is accessed using the same keystrokes as the Control menu: 

   ALT+SPACEBAR

Below are instructions for loading Microman, as presented in the Microsoft Windows Resource Kit:

  1. From Program Manager's File menu, choose Run.

  2. Type: 

          winfile

  3. Choose the OK button to run File Manager.

  4. Open the Windows directory.

  5. Open the directory named WRKIT. (This is where most of your utilities have been installed.)

  6. From File Manager's File menu, choose Run.

  7. Type: 

          microman

  8. Choose OK to run hDC's MicroApp Manager.
