SUMMARY
In Microsoft Excel, if a page break appears between two rows or
columns, yet there is room on the printed page for more rows or
columns, the following situations may exist:
- A manual page break has been set. To remove the manual page break,
do the following:
a. Select any cell in the column to the right of the dotted line or
select the row beneath the dotted line.
b. From the Options menu, choose Remove Page Break.
- A print area or a set of print titles that does not include the
entire worksheet has been defined. To remove the print area and/or
print titles, do the following:
a. From the Formula menu, choose Define Name.
b. If the names Print_Area and/or Print_Titles are listed in the
box on the left side of the Define Name dialog box, select each
name and click the Delete button.
- A column that has a manual page break to the left of it has been
hidden. For example, suppose that a manual page break has been set
between columns C and D. If column D is then given a column width
of zero, D will be hidden, but the dotted page break will still
show, now between C and E. If you select column E, you cannot
choose Remove Page Break from the Options menu (it appears grey).
To remove the page break, do the following:
a. From the Formula menu, choose Goto.
b. Enter a reference to any cell in the hidden column. For example,
enter D1 if column D is hidden.
c. From the Options menu, choose Remove Page Break.
