Excel: SHIFT-Selecting Multiple Noncontiguous Ranges

SUMMARY
To SHIFT-select multiple noncontiguous ranges in a Microsoft Excel
worksheet or macro sheet, use the following procedure:
- Click the first cell.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and select the ending cell for that range.
Release the SHIFT key.
- Hold down the COMMAND key and select the first cell of the second
range. Release the COMMAND key.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and select the end of the range. Release
the SHIFT key.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each noncontiguous range to add to the
selection.
NOTE: The SHIFT+COMMAND key combination will not work because this
combination cancels all previously selected text.
