Excel: Stationery Files Are Treated as TemplatesID: Q77296
|
If you define a Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh version 3.0 or 4.0 normal document as a Stationery pad under System 7.0 and place it in the Microsoft Excel Startup folder, Microsoft Excel treats the document as a template. The file is added to the list of file types in the New dialog box, but Microsoft Excel does not open the file at startup.
To determine if a file has been set as a Stationery pad:
"Microsoft Excel User's Guide 1," version 4.0, pages 79-81
"Microsoft Excel User's Guide," version 3.0, pages 549-550
Additional query words: 3.0 4.00
