Excel: STEP() Causes Macro Error in Auto_Open MacroID: Q90402
|
A STEP() macro statement in an Auto_Open routine which executes while Excel is launching will result in a macro error. If Excel is already open when the Auto_Open macro executes, the function behaves normally.
Double-clicking an Excel 4.0 document from the desktop while Excel is
not running in the background launches Excel and opens the selected
document. In this circumstance, any STEP() statement executed by an
Auto_Open macro results in a macro error.
