Excel: TAB Key Movement Order in Custom Dialog BoxLast reviewed: November 2, 1994Article ID: Q64352 |
SUMMARYWhen a Microsoft Excel custom dialog box macro is run, the TAB key moves the cursor from one edit box to another. The path that the TAB key takes when moving between edit boxes is dependent upon the position of the information in the dialog box definition table, not the physical position of the edit box within the dialog box. The edit boxes will be activated according to the dialog box definition table, reading from top to bottom. To control the path in which the TAB key activates edit boxes, position the data in the desired order in the dialog box definition table.
