On page 438 of the version 4.0 "Microsoft Excel Function Reference,"
and pages 239-240 of the version 3.0 "Microsoft Excel Function
Reference," the description for the TRUNC() function reads
Truncates a number to an integer by removing the fractional part of
the number.
Truncates a number to the precision specified in num_digits by
removing the remaining fractional part. If num_digits is zero or
blank, truncates the number to an integer by removing the entire
fractional part.
