SUMMARY

Microsoft Excel will not print a footer when the A4 letter size is used on the Apple LaserWriter. To work around this problem, use the printer options under Page Setup, as follows:

  1. From the File menu, choose Page Setup and click the Options button.

  2. Select "Larger Print Area (Fewer Downloadable Fonts)" and "Precision Bitmap Alignment (4% reduction)." This will allow the footer to be printed.

The A4 letter size is 11.67 inches long, as opposed to the US letter size, which is 11.5 inches long.
