Excel: Unsupported Features

SUMMARY

The following features are not supported by Microsoft Excel:

  1. Superscript character formatting

  2. Subscript character formatting

  3. Macro control of paper feed when printing

  4. Graphics pasted from other applications onto a chart or worksheet

  5. Ability to transfer column width during Cut or Copy operation

  6. Direct statistical functions - chi squared, T-test [to obtain function macros that perform these and other statistical functions, call Baarns Consulting Group at (800)377-XCEL (9235).

    NOTE: Heizer Software sold their Microsoft Excel business division to Baarns Consulting Group. Heizer previously supported this area.

The following features are supported by Microsoft Excel version 2.20, but not by earlier versions:

  1. Character underlining

  2. Variable-row height

  3. Multiple fonts on a single worksheet

  4. Suppression of zero (0) values on a chart

  5. Automatic charting of uneven, noncontiguous worksheet selection

  6. Notes in a cell or worksheet

  7. Ability to change the font in a page header or footer

  8. Password protection to prevent file opening
