Left Mouse Button Click Acts Like Right Mouse Button ClickID: Q136592
|
When you click the left mouse button, Windows 95/98 may respond as if you pressed the right mouse button. For example, when you click an icon with the left mouse button, the context menu may open.
This problem can occur sporadically and unpredictably when many mouse
events occur at the same time. For example, this problem may occur when
you are running several programs at once, or if your computer has a slower
processor and you release both mouse buttons at once.
When this problem occurs, click and release the right mouse button to cause the mouse to behave correctly again.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95/98.
