SUMMARY

Applying a Microsoft Excel custom number format that contains the Skip Width symbol (underscore) and the Text Placeholder symbol (@ character) to a cell, and then applying the Wrap Text option to the same cell, causes the cell to display erroneous characters.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel version 3.0. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel version 4.0.
