ACC: How to Display "Welcome to MS Access" Opening Screen

To have the initial Welcome To Microsoft Access opening screen appear when you start Microsoft Access, edit the MSACCESS.INI file in version 1.x, or the MSACC20.INI file in version 2.0. Open either file in Windows Notepad (or any other text editor), and change the "Tutorial=" line in the [Microsoft Access] section from


   Tutorial=0


   Tutorial=1

For example:


   [Microsoft Access]
   Tutorial=1

Save and then close the file, and then start Microsoft Access.
