The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Lotus 1-2-3 version 5.0, you can save a file as a Microsoft Excel 4.0 worksheet or workbook. When one of these files is opened in a version of Microsoft Excel listed at the beginning of this article, the gridlines may not be displayed. This problem will occur even though the gridlines are turned on in the View tab of the Options dialog box in Microsoft Excel.
CAUSEThe gridlines are not displayed because the pattern of the Normal Style is set to the color white.
RESOLUTIONTo display the gridlines, you can use the following steps:
