CAUSE ===== If the mouse double-click speed has been reset, either by mouse enhancement software or by using the Mouse tool in Control Panel, the custom Menu Speed setting in TweakUI is not used. RESOLUTION ========== To reset the Menu Speed setting in TweakUI, follow these steps: 1. Disable any mouse enhancement software you may have installed. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the TweakUI tool, and then click the Mouse tab. 3. Move the Menu Speed slider to a different position, and then click Apply. 4. When you are prompted to log off and back on, click OK, and then restart your computer. 5. In Control Panel, double-click the TweakUI tool, and then click the Mouse tab. 6. Move the Menu Speed slider back to the setting you want, and then click Apply. 7. When you are prompted to log off and back on, click OK, and then restart your computer.
