Missing Gridlines and Row and Column Headings

Last reviewed: November 2, 1994

SUMMARY

In Excel, you can customize your worksheet display by changing the color of your row and column headings and gridlines in the dialog box that appears when you choose Display from the Options menu. However, if you change your gridline and row and column heading color to one that matches the Windows color setting for your window background, your gridlines and headings may disappear.

To correct this problem, select Display from the Options menu and change the Gridline and Heading Color to Automatic.
