SYMPTOMSWhile trying to browse a server in File Manager in Windows NT, you may receive the following error message.
Network Name Cannot Be Found. CAUSEThis error can be caused by typing "\\<servername>\"--without the quotation marks--(for example, "\\westlab\") in the Path box of the Connect Network Drive dialog box. You cannot enter a a trailing backslash (\) after the server name. The trailing backslash is used when browsing in Windows for Workgroups, but this method is not available in Windows NT.
RESOLUTIONTo eliminate this error message, remove the trailing backslash from the server name (for example, "\\westlab").
