SYMPTOMSYou may receive one of the following error messages when you try to start an application:
Not enough storage to start process. -or- Error #0008 CAUSEThese errors indicate you have run out of paging file space. The less RAM a system has, the more likely this is to happen.
RESOLUTIONTo correct this problem, do one of the following:
MORE INFORMATIONNon-paged memory is memory that cannot be swapped out to disk. Applications can tell Windows NT how much of themselves can be placed in the non-paged pool. There is a limit to the amount of objects a system can have in non-paged memory at any time.
