The information in this article applies to:
In Microsoft Excel 5.0, when you print a selection of worksheets, or when you print the entire workbook, not all of the worksheets are printed with the selected printer options.
This behavior occurs if you print multiple worksheets that have different Page Setup options, such as orientation, and you then change one of the options in the Print dialog box, such as the Black & White or Color/Grayscale option.
For example, if you select two worksheets in a workbook, one formatted for Landscape orientation, and one formatted for Portrait orientation, and you change the Print option for the printer driver from Color/Grayscale to Black & White, one of the worksheets may be printed using the Color/Grayscale option.
To avoid this behavior, print the worksheets separately instead of printing them in a group or printing the entire workbook. Select only the worksheet that you want to print, and choose Print from the File menu. The default option under Print should be Selected Sheets. Choose the Print button.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
