ACC: "No permissions for '<table name>'" Error Modifying TableID: Q92667
|
Advanced: Requires expert coding, interoperability, and multiuser skills.
When you try to modify data in a table in Datasheet view, you may receive
the following error message
No permissions for '<table name>'
This error message indicates that you have only Read Definitions (in
Microsoft Access version 1.x) or Read Design (in Microsoft Access version
2.0) permissions on the table. Because you have permission to view the
data by default, you do not receive an error message when you first open
the table in Datasheet view.
When you try to open the table in Design view, you receive the following
error message:
You don't have permission to modify '<table name>'. Open as read-only?
For more information about permissions, search for "permissions command" using the Microsoft Access Help menu.
