By default, Administrators and Power Users (in addition to Print Operators and System Operators on Windows NT Advanced Server) have full control over local printers. Other users have print access. The creator/owner of a document can administer only that document. The permissions can be changed by choosing Permissions from the Security menu in Print Manager. Full control access is required to pause or resume a printer, or to set its properties. Print access permits a user to view the documents on a printer and to submit documents.
