SYMPTOMS
========

The Security Copy utility (SCOPY.EXE) included in the Windows NT Resource Kit
version 3.1 copies files and directories from Windows NT file system (NTFS)
partitions with their security intact. When you copy a file using SCOPY, the
time and date stamp changes to the current time and date.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Resource Kit version
3.1. This problem has been corrected in Windows NT Resource Kit version 3.5.

you must upgrade your network operating system to Windows NT version 3.5.
