SUMMARYQ+E for Microsoft Excel for Windows uses the System 8 font by default. In version 2.5 and later, you can specify a different default font by choosing Font from the Layout menu. The information below explains how to set the default font in both the Windows and OS/2 environments.

Q+E Versions 2.1 and 2.1c for WindowsTo specify a default font, enter the following statement in the [Q+E] section of the WIN.INI file
font=font_name,point_sizewhere "font_name" is the name of a font listed when you choose the Font option from the Layout menu in Q+E. Similarly, "point_size" is a number chosen from a list in the same dialog as the fonts. For example:
font=Courier,10Q+E versions 2.1 and 2.1c support only nonproportional fonts such as System and Courier. If a proportional font is listed in this section, Q+E defaults to the System font.
