SYMPTOMSSending large amounts of data over an SNA Bridge causes this error:
Trap 0x0000000A CAUSEThis indicates network cards with mismatched speeds. For example, a 16-bit Ethernet card paired with a slower (8-bit) token ring 16/4 card, results causes a data overrun on the token ring card.
RESOLUTIONIBMTOK.SYS has been changed to handle this speed mismatch condition. A workaround is to use two of same speed network cards (32 bit or 16 bit).
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
