Using a Command Macro with Caps LockLast reviewed: November 29, 1994Article ID: Q32511 |
The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYIf CAPS LOCK is enabled when you enter the CTRL+<letter> key sequence (where <letter> is the keycode) for a command macro in the Formula Define Name dialog box, a capital letter will be entered for the <letter> key. As a result, when the command macro is executed using CTRL+<letter>, the SHIFT key must be depressed, even if CAPS LOCK is enabled. Microsoft Excel ignores the status of CAPS LOCK when a CTRL key is used to begin a command macro.
