|
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you try to run the Microsoft Access Setup program, it fails and you
receive one of the following out-of-memory error messages:
Insufficient Memory
-or-
Not enough memory to run SETUP.EXE
One cause of this error relates to an incorrect CMOS setting for the floppy disk drive from which Microsoft Access is installed.
Modify the CMOS setting to correctly configure the disk drive. If you need assistance to change the settings appropriately, contact your dealer or hardware manufacturer.
The error messages above can occur when you install Microsoft Access from a 1.2-megabyte disk drive and the CMOS setting for that drive indicates that it is a 360-kilobyte disk drive.
