The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYMost SCSI hard disk drives are set to ID 6 by default. Windows NT checks for ID 1 first and then ID 0. If Windows NT cannot detect your SCSI drive, set your SCSI drive ID to 1, 0 (preferably), or any other ID but the one the SCSI controller is using.
