XL: Can't Use Print Report Feature with Protected WorksheetID: Q99981
|
In Microsoft Excel, when you use the Print Report command, you receive the following error message:
Cannot print or edit reports from a protected document.
This error message occurs when you are trying to use the Print Report
command while the active sheet is protected. This behavior is by design
of Microsoft Excel.
Note that you can protect the worksheet objects and scenarios without
receiving the error message when you use the Print Report command.
To work around this behavior, use the appropriate method to unprotect the
document.
The Print Report command, which is available when you load the Report
Manager add-in file Report.xla, gives you the ability to print several
views and scenarios of a worksheet in succession. Because changing
scenarios means changing the contents of cells, this operation cannot be
done on worksheet where the cells are protected.
