SUMMARYIn Word for Windows, the screen redraws and the current character appears very bright when you use the Orchid Pro Designer II video drivers. This behavior is more noticeable when you use 14-point or larger fonts or when you backspace to delete a character. The behavior does not occur if you use the Super VGA (SVGA, 800 x 600, 16 colors) video driver supplied with Windows version 3.1. This behavior does not affect the printed document.

The two self-extracting files, INSTALL.EXE and WIN3XDRV.EXE, are dated 4/3/92. These files contain the following video drivers, dated 3/1/92:
