When you import an HTML form that contains a drop-down field with more than 25 items (<option> tags), Word Internet Assistant drops all items past the twenty-fifth item.
Your form contains a drop-down field with more than 25 items. Word is limited to a maximum of 25 items in a drop-down form field.
If you need to add more than 25 items to the drop-down form, you can open the HTML document as text only and type in the HTML markup for the <option> items, saving the file as a text file.
If you open or save such a file using the HTML converter, the converter will delete all <option> items above 25.
When you design forms in Internet Assistant for Word, you are limited to 25 items in a drop-down form field. Word generates the following warning message if you try to exceed this limit:
You can have no more than 25 items in your drop down list box.
