Graphic Prints Solid Black with Print Selection

SYMPTOMS

If you print from Word 6.0 for the Macintosh using a LaserWriter 7.x version driver, with the option "Print Selection Only" selected, any graphics, pictures, or OLE objects may print solid black. This occurs no matter what the Print setting for Black & White or Color/Grayscale is set to.

RESOLUTION

This behavior does not occur when you print using the LaserWriter 8.x version drivers. If you are encountering this problem, contact Apple support to obtain an updated printer driver.
