SYMPTOMS

You receive one of the following errors when you try to insert a Microsoft Excel 4.0 worksheet object in a Word for Windows document:

CAUSE

The Microsoft Excel worksheet object is too wide or too long to fit on the page.

WORKAROUNDS

Method 1: Insert the object as an icon. When you insert an existing

          Microsoft Excel 4.0 worksheet object, this option is available on
          the Create From File tab. It is also available when you choose
          Paste Special from the Edit menu, select Paste or Paste Link, and
          choose Excel 4.0 Worksheet Object or one of the other options.

Method 2: Reduce the size of the object to a single page before inserting
          it into your Word document.
