If you record a macro that inserts a table of figures using the Index And Tables command on the Insert menu, Word for Windows incorrectly records the InsertTableOfContents command instead of the InsertTableOfFigures command. When you run the macro, however, Word correctly inserts the table of figures in your document.
Although Word recorded the macro incorrectly, the macro performs correctly. If you want to change the macro, open it in a macro-editing window and change "InsertTableOfContents" to "InsertTableOfFigures."
This problem was corrected in Word 97 for Windows and Word 98 Macintosh Edition.
