Word for Windows, Versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c

1. The word "accommodate" is misspelled as "accomodate" in the

   LETBLOCK, LETMDSEM, LETMODBK, and LETPERSN letter templates
   supplied with Word for Windows. The misspelling occurs in the Set
   Letter Header dialog box.

2. The spelling checker does not flag "continuos" as a misspelled word
   because it is a valid plural form of the word "continuo". Webster's
   Ninth Collegiate Dictionary defines this word as follows:

   A bass part (as for a keyboard or stringed instrument) used esp. in
   baroque ensemble music and consisting of a succession of bass notes
   with figures that indicate the required chords--called also
   figured bass, thoroughbass.

   If you sometimes mistype "continuous" as "continuos" and want the
   spelling checker to flag "continuos" as incorrect, add "continuos"
   to an exclude dictionary. For instructions on creating and using an
   exclude dictionary, refer to page 90 of the "Microsoft Word for
   Windows User's Guide" or query "exclude dictionary" in Word Help.

"Stymieing" is misspelled as "stymying" in the Word thesaurus.

Word Version 1.1a

The word "recommited" is misspelled in the main spelling dictionary. When you check the spelling of the word "recommitted," Word version 1.1a incorrectly suggests "recommited."
