XL: Errors If XL5GALRY.XLS Is Saved with PasswordID: Q108358

In the versions of Microsoft Excel listed above, if you open the
XL5GALRY.XLS file, which is located in your EXCEL\XLSTART directory, and
then save it with a password, you may be prompted to enter a password
whenever you attempt to perform certain actions.
It is recommended that you DO NOT save the XL5GALRY.XLS file with any
kind of password.
Microsoft Excel saves user-defined autoformats and other chart information
in the XL5GALRY.XLS file, located in the EXCEL\XLSTART directory. This file
is modified through choices that you make in various dialog boxes in
Microsoft Excel.
If you open XL5GALRY.XLS and then save it with a password, you may notice
the following unexpected behavior when you are working in Microsoft Excel,
version 5.0:
