If you use the ToolsAdvancedSettings to write to an .INI file, the information is written to the WINWORD6.INI by default unless another .INI file is specified in the .Application parameter.
To write to an .INI file other than WINWORD6.INI, specify the filename with the .Application parameter. For example, the following macro line writes to the WINWORD6.INI since no other .INI file is specified in the .Application parameter:
ToolsAdvancedSettings .Application = "Doc2Help", .Option =
"ThisIsATest", .Setting = "test"
The following example writes to the WIN.INI file:
